Default Character Setup Screen?

When I log in and select "Create", to make a new character. It goes to the screen where it gives you the option to make PVE or, a PVP char. Whenever i click on one, and i select continue, it always gives me this "connecting" mini-screen. Then after that happens i go into the character select menu, and that starts acting really slow. It responds really slow sometimes. I don't really know what the problem is. It just acts slow.. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

Ok seriously, that makes no sense whatsoever. You're just posting crap aren't you?

Its since the recent updates, it happens to me, and lots of my friends I know... It freezes for about 5-15 seconds before you can click "Create Custom Character" and then another 5 secs or so before you can do anything else, it settles down on the skill/attribute setting screen...

dunno wtf they have done to it...

I get [Ghozer's problem] that too, and a few seconds of lag when the login screen first appears on your monitor after launching Guild Wars...

I'm actually having that problem just logging on right now. I click on my monk and I'm on the connecting screen for ages, came on here to see if anyone else had problems. Everything runs fine, just can't get on the server.
